8 Must Do Things for All Bloggers

Evey blogger has to avoid a lot of things to stay focused and productive to be successful. And at the same time, each and every single blogger needs to do some most important things that can not be missed. It is a complicated business because it needs your mind more than your physical strength.  In blogging, there are some must do things for all bloggers no matter they are beginners or experts. Just like a human being needs to breath no matter he is president of a country or a homeless beggar.

1. List Building :
Every time I read success story of any blogger, every time I tried to to read the secrets of success in blogging, I found myself in the same place most of the time. Because all those people who became successful in no time say that List Building was what made them.

Having an email lists has plenty of benefits but we are not going to talk about them here. Simply, it is a never ending traffic and customer source for your blogs and products. Hence, building an email list is the most important thing that every blogger needs to do because you are making your journey harder by not doing so.

2. Being Social :
By being social I mean, try to make as many social accounts as you can. And not on the same platform. I want you have an account at every social platform and then interact with your community right there and in blog’s comments section.

If you showcase your visitor that you are on almost all popular Social Networks in the world, he will not only  be impressed but would be willing to join your community. And even if you don’t have any blogs, interacting with different types of people  is always fun.

3. Call to Action :
One of the biggest mistake that even I notice some pro bloggers also make is not calling to action. Once a reader finishes reading your article, he is willing to know what he should do next.

And if you guide him at this place by putting a few options in front of him like encouraging to comment, follow or ask question, you are not only making him feel good but benefiting you and your blog at the same time by making him a productive reader.

4. Replying to Comments :
In existence of any kind of blog, comments are like blood because interaction is the biggest reason why blogging and blogs are so popular. By commenting at a blog post and showing your real response, you are telling that guy about the quality of his article and what are your opinions about it.

Hence, it is very important for blogger to reply to each and every single comment that they receive on their articles and appreciate or help that reader in the way he wants.

This makes both parties happy and encourages bloggers to keep producing the quality content, get new suggestion and get their mistakes corrected at the same time while readers enjoy the limitless knowledge flowing around them.

5. Taking conversation to next level :
What if a reader of your blog starts liking you so much that he wants to meet you or chat with you in private ? What you’re gonna do ? Say simple no or make lame excuse ? That’s not the way a blogger needs to be.

As a blogger, you should be able to take the conversation to the next level by discussing and helping that guy in online chat or  in offline meeting . But you can do it whenever you think you might be free and tell that person instead of simply ignoring the mails.

6. Brain Storming :
For those who don’t understand the term, thinking and bringing out new blog post ideas and saving them on notepaper or some sort of software is what we call brain storming or brain mapping.I don’t think that a blogger can survive more than 2-3 weeks without brain storming.

He will definitely burn in bloggers block and possibly leave blogging. Hence, you always need to do brain storming to bring out new ideas so you can stay interesting, productive and happy.

7. Having Drafts :
There is no service in this world that would tell you about a bad time coming for you. Only guesses. Bad times can arrive from out of no where. You might have to leave for some extremely important task and you can not blog. You are in some family problem and you can not blog.

Or you are stuck in bloggers block and of course you can not blog. So having some posts in drafts can help a lot. You can edit it a little bit and the publish or schedule it for whenever you want. This will save your blog from dying every time when you are away.

8. Analyzing :
Analyzing the outcomes and results deeply and then planning for the future is way too important for all kinds of bloggers at every level. Having a deep look at data can tell you a lot about your future and show you what’s going to be the right direction. It will also help you making many important decisions so always analyze your traffic and sales analytics deeply.
