4 Reasons To Create Sub Domains
For those of you who don’t know, sub domain is a piece of top level domain. For example, Google.com is a top level domain while images.google.com and google.com/adsense are sub domains. For example Google.com is a top level domain while images.google.com and google.com/adsense are sub domains. While many people believe that it is almost impossible to make any money from sub domains, I say those guys are right but, they are wrong too. It’s extremely hard to make money with free sub domains like “Blogspot.com” but not with the personal ones like “example.yourdomain.com.
And money is not the only thing that you can bring out of a blog or sub domain. There are people and organizations out there who have very successful sub domains. Take Yahoo for example. Yahoo Voices, Yahoo Sports and Yahoo answers are all popular all over the world. Now allow me to tell you 4 reasons to create sub domains.
1. Traffic :
Sub domains can generate traffic in a very hand fashion. By creating a sub domain, you eject a lot of traffic very easily from one of your already established blogs. And after your domain bec0omes popular, you can start sending traffic back to your main blog and create an ongoing cycle of traffic exchange between two of your very own sites.
Imagine having multiple domains set up and then repeating the same process with all of them. How much traffic and benefit that you’re gonna have. And the best thing, all this is for free.
2. Interconnection :
Having multiple domain names allows you to internally connect. You can get the most of each and every single visitor by linking one by one to all of your articles wherever appropriate. That simply results in more page views per visit.
Sub domains allow you to make your readers loyal by bringing the best to them and feed them tons of thing without confusing them by putting all these things on one place. You may run a tech blog and have a TLD that is suitable for any kind of niche and have multiple sub domains like fashion, sports and music.
It will be pretty easy to get more page views due to the fact that there are high chances of a tech reader might be interested in fashion or sports.
3. Zero Costs :
Having sub domains never costs a single penny because almost all of hosting providers these days allow you up to 3 free sub domains. And some even allow unlimited in their grand packages. Hence, you don’t have to register them.
You don’t have to worry about hosting or anything else like that which makes it very easy to focus on two most important things which are creating killer content and promoting it like a pro. So you better start thinking about creating your sub domains without worrying about your budget.
4. Stand Out Of Crowd :
Sub domains are simple advertisements of your main domain. You see, whenever someone visits an article or something on your sub domains and likes it, he will surely be interested in digging more into your personality and network where visiting your main blog is simply must which adds into your credibility.
Sub domains also make you look different, better and stand out of crowd of all those blogger who either don’t create multiple blogs or hate doing so by creating sub domains. By having one, you don’t have to worry about your blog or sites differently. You simply think to grow your network and focus on making them all hot.
Do you have sub domains ? Or do you want to create some ? Were these reasons to create sub domains satisfying to you ? Make sure to allow your fingers to speak of your mind.
